Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large-scale datasets of equity option chains to identify trends, volatility patterns, and pricing discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and transform data for reporting purposes.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with trading teams to define data requirements and improve forecasting models.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial reporting systems.
- Conduct research on market events to update pricing models and hedging strategies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the finance or options trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Expertise in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Understanding of financial derivatives, specifically equity options, Black-Scholes models, or market mechanics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
