Responsibilities
- Analyze high-frequency options market data to detect pricing inefficiencies and volatility anomalies
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for real-time options pricing and risk metrics
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for traders and portfolio managers
- Validate quantitative models against market data and recommend enhancements
- Collaborate with quants to design backtesting frameworks for new trading strategies
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting equity derivatives markets and update compliance protocols
- Present complex analytical findings to senior stakeholders through clear executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience analyzing equity options data or derivatives pricing
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for statistical analysis
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo)
- Experience with market data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and options exchanges
- Strong knowledge of volatility surfaces, Greeks calculations, and risk metrics
- Ability to translate complex quantitative concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Professional certifications (CFA, FRM) or advanced degree preferred
