Responsibilities
- Analyze high-frequency equity options data using Python and SQL to identify market anomalies and pricing inefficiencies
- Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards for options volatility surfaces and Greeks calculations
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to backtest options strategies using historical market data
- Create ad-hoc analyses for institutional clients regarding option chain behavior and implied volatility trends
- Implement data quality controls to ensure accuracy of options market data feeds
- Document analytical methodologies and present findings to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience analyzing equity derivatives or options data
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation
- Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and volatility surfaces
- Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or statistical software (R, MATLAB)
- Familiarity with market data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and FIX protocol
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-stakes financial environments
