Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated data pipelines for equity options market feeds and pricing models
- Conduct rigorous quantitative analysis of option pricing discrepancies and volatility surfaces
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to monitor option chain dynamics
- Collaborate with quants to validate and enhance Black-Scholes and binomial option pricing models
- Perform ad-hoc analysis on large datasets using SQL, Python, and R to uncover trading opportunities
- Document data methodologies, model assumptions, and analysis workflows
- Present findings to senior stakeholders with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in financial data analysis with specific focus on equity derivatives
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling libraries
- Deep understanding of option pricing models (Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations) and greeks
- Experience with market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and option chains
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts into data-driven solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical insights to non-technical audiences
