Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth quantitative analysis of equity options data to identify trends, patterns, and arbitrage opportunities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize market movements and trading metrics.
- Collaborate with trading desks to refine option pricing models and optimize hedging strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous cleaning, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports summarizing key market metrics, volatility indices, and risk exposures for senior stakeholders.
- Utilize Python and SQL to automate data extraction pipelines and build scalable data solutions.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- 3+ years of experience in financial data analysis, specifically within options or derivatives markets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta), implied volatility, and Black-Scholes models.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
