You'll work closely with portfolio managers and quantitative researchers to develop cutting-edge models that predict market movements and optimize options pricing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex equity options data using SQL, Python, and R to identify market trends and anomalies
- Develop automated data pipelines for real-time options pricing and volatility surface monitoring
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI to visualize options risk metrics and P&L drivers
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to validate options pricing models and backtest trading strategies
- Produce comprehensive reports on options market structure, implied volatility skew, and correlation patterns
- Monitor regulatory compliance in derivatives reporting (SEC, FINRA) and ensure data integrity
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in equity options analysis or quantitative finance
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for large-scale data manipulation
- Strong understanding of Black-Scholes model, Greeks, and options pricing methodologies
- Experience with market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Interactive Brokers)
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques for financial forecasting
- CFA or FRM certification highly desirable
