Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of equity options pricing data, volatility surfaces, and open interest trends.
- Develop and maintain complex data visualization dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to support real-time trading floor decisions.
- Build and refine quantitative models to assess risk and potential returns on derivative portfolios.
- Collaborate with senior traders and risk managers to interpret data anomalies and market movements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of large datasets through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports summarizing key market indicators and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or derivatives trading sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and the Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with financial data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, CQG) is highly preferred.
