Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Processing: Design and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and clean large volumes of equity options chain data from multiple exchanges.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and refine models to analyze option pricing, implied volatility, and Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega).
- Visualization: Create intuitive, real-time dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize market trends and anomalies.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on trading strategies to identify profitability and risk factors.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data feeds to support critical trading decisions.
- Collaboration: Partner with the trading desk and quantitative research teams to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or quantitative analysis within the financial sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (Advanced querying) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of equity options markets, including calls, puts, spreads, and complex derivatives.
- Tools: Experience with Bloomberg API, Quandl, or similar financial data platforms is a plus.
