Responsibilities
- Analyze complex equity options data sets, including implied volatility, Greeks, and open interest, to identify market trends and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain quantitative models for options pricing and risk assessment using statistical techniques and programming languages.
- Create intuitive dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to present data findings to senior stakeholders and trading desks.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reporting systems and databases.
- Conduct deep-dive research into market events to forecast potential impacts on option chains and pricing structures.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines for high-frequency financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, specifically within the financial services or options trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and market mechanics.
