Responsibilities
- Market Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze high-volume equity options data to identify trends, arbitrage opportunities, and market inefficiencies.
- Database Management: Design, maintain, and optimize SQL databases to ensure accurate and timely storage of options chain data and historical trade records.
- Modeling Support: Assist in the development and validation of pricing models for complex equity derivatives and exotic options structures.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and automated reporting systems using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize risk metrics and P&L.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the trading desk and risk management teams to provide real-time data support and strategic recommendations.
- Data Quality Control: Implement rigorous data cleaning and validation protocols to ensure the reliability of analytical outputs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis within the financial services or equity derivatives industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for complex querying; strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and spreadsheet software (Advanced Excel/VBA).
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of equity options, Greeks, volatility surface modeling, and options trading strategies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
