Responsibilities
- Collaborate with quants to translate mathematical models for equity options pricing into production-grade Python and C++ code.
- Develop and maintain low-latency systems for real-time market data ingestion and order routing.
- Optimize database queries and data pipelines to handle high-volume financial datasets.
- Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and architectural planning.
- Debug complex trading systems and troubleshoot latency issues in high-pressure environments.
- Automate testing and deployment processes to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level language (Python, Java, or C++) with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts, specifically equity options or derivatives, is highly preferred.
- Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Eagerness to learn about financial markets and trading strategies.
