Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-latency trading systems for equity options execution
- Implement real-time market data processing and analytics pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure system reliability
- Optimize algorithms for high-frequency trading scenarios
- Document system architecture and technical specifications
- Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python with strong fundamentals in OOP
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading concepts
- Familiarity with Linux environments and version control (Git)
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and derivatives (equity options preferred)
- Problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex systems
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn in a collaborative setting
