Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications for our equity options trading platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, traders, and data scientists) to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Debug complex issues and optimize database performance for real-time market data.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies to ensure software quality and team alignment.
- Contribute to the testing and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Interest in finance, specifically equity options, is highly desirable.
