Responsibilities
- Assist in the physical installation, configuration, and testing of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform cable management and structured cabling (Cat6, Fiber) for office environments.
- Monitor network performance and assist in resolving connectivity issues for end-users.
- Document network configurations and create technical diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and organized server room and telecommunications closet.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to ensure 99.9% uptime for client systems.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during installation tasks.
