Responsibilities
- Assist with Installation: Support the deployment of routers, switches, and firewalls in our client sites.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Cable Management: Perform structured cabling, termination, and labeling of network cables (Cat5e, Cat6).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations and system changes.
- System Monitoring: Monitor network health and performance logs to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Hardware Support: Assemble and configure workstations and peripherals for end-users.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or Cisco CCNA path preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Attitude: A strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (e.g., server rooms, field sites).
