Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and access points
- Perform network diagnostics using tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds
- Assist with network security protocols and firewall management
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network optimization projects
- Provide Tier 1/2 user support for network connectivity issues
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotating schedule)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; A+/Network+ preferred
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP protocols
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CCNA within first 18 months
