Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and access points
- Perform diagnostic testing on network systems and document findings
- Assist with network security protocols and threat monitoring
- Provide tier-1 technical support to internal and external stakeholders
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network optimization projects
- Participate in hands-on training sessions for new technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in IT preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Excellent communication skills and customer service aptitude
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA Network+ certification within 6 months
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
