Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and access points
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize system efficiency
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 1/2 user support for network connectivity issues
- Assist in implementing network security measures and protocols
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades
- Participate in regular training to maintain technical certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
- Valid driver's license (for equipment transport)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Eagerness to obtain CompTIA Network+ within 12 months
