Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Diagnose network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Assist in network security implementations and vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate asset inventories
- Provide Tier 1/2 support to resolve end-user connectivity problems
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network optimization projects
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to pursue industry-recognized certifications
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Pass background check and drug screening
