Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports using ITSM software
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Assist with hardware/software upgrades, patch management, and security implementations
- Collaborate with senior technicians on complex network projects and system migrations
- Adhere to industry best practices for network security and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant certification preferred
- Basic understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various physical environments (server rooms, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months of hire
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
