Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance software for equity options pricing and risk analysis
- Implement algorithms for options valuation models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Build real-time trading systems with sub-millisecond latency requirements
- Collaborate with quants to translate financial models into production code
- Ensure regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA) in trading system design
- Optimize system performance for high-frequency trading environments
- Write unit tests and integration tests for critical financial modules
- Participate in Agile sprints with daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Java or Python with understanding of multithreading
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and derivatives concepts
- Experience with SQL databases and REST API integration
