Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets of equity options and derivatives to identify market trends.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting processes.
- Assist in the construction of financial models for option pricing and risk assessment.
- Generate daily and weekly analytical reports on implied volatility, open interest, and Greeks for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to provide timely data support and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Maintain and update internal databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with financial concepts, specifically derivatives, options pricing models (Black-Scholes), and the Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta).
- Proficient in SQL for database querying and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and complex formula development.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
