Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Gather and process raw data from multiple exchanges to ensure accuracy in our equity options databases.
- Market Analysis Support: Assist senior analysts in tracking market trends, implied volatility, and open interest patterns.
- Dashboard Creation: Utilize visualization tools to create clear, concise charts and reports for the trading floor.
- Data Validation: Perform rigorous error checking to identify discrepancies in option chain data.
- Reporting: Generate daily and weekly performance reports highlighting key metrics for stakeholders.
- Research Assistance: Support the quantitative research team in back-testing trading strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Graduates welcome).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We value raw potential and a strong work ethic.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge of SQL or Python is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Interest: Demonstrated interest in the stock market, specifically options trading and derivatives.
