In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between raw market data and actionable financial intelligence, supporting our quantitative researchers and traders.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Integrity Management: Collect, clean, and validate massive datasets of equity option trades and quotes to ensure 99.9% accuracy.
- Options Analysis: Assist in the calculation and verification of complex financial metrics, including Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega) and implied volatility.
- Database Maintenance: Support the development and maintenance of our internal SQL databases, ensuring data is structured for optimal querying and reporting.
- Market Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior stakeholders, visualizing market trends using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Research Support: Collaborate with the research team to identify market inefficiencies and data anomalies in equity option markets.
- Process Improvement: Document data workflows and suggest optimizations to increase processing speed and data quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics (or equivalent experience).
- Academic Background: Strong foundation in calculus, linear algebra, and statistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL is required; experience with Python or R for data manipulation is a strong plus.
- Excel Mastery: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) are essential for daily tasks.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data entry and verification; ability to spot errors others might miss.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in New York City.
