Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets related to equity options and derivatives.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction processes.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to visualize market trends for the trading floor.
- Assist in the analysis of implied volatility and open interest data to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to identify potential anomalies in market data.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance summaries for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Graduates with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong foundation in statistics and quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL (strongly preferred) and experience with Python or R.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VBA macros.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in complex datasets.
