Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to equity options and market trends.
- Assist senior analysts in interpreting complex market data to support trading decisions.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for the trading desk.
- Monitor and identify anomalies or patterns in financial data using statistical methods.
- Maintain and update internal databases and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in the stock market and equity options.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Basic understanding of SQL or Python is a plus but not required.
