Responsibilities
- Analyze equity options market data using SQL and Excel to identify pricing inefficiencies
- Assist in building and validating financial models for options pricing strategies
- Monitor volatility surfaces and implied trends across US equity markets
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on options volume, open interest, and skew metrics
- Collaborate with trading desks to provide data-backed insights for hedging strategies
- Maintain data integrity across market feeds and proprietary databases
- Support compliance tracking for options positions under regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Statistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and analysis
- Strong quantitative aptitude with attention to detail
