Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and areas for operational improvement.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into analytical models.
- Reporting: Create detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R is highly preferred.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Mindset: A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and data methodologies.
