As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders to interpret complex datasets, build compelling visualizations, and support critical decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, scrub, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and summaries that translate technical findings into clear, business-friendly insights.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas where data processes can be optimized to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying; strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
