Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality input for analysis.
- Visual Analytics: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and outliers within data sets.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive, data-driven reports and presentations for stakeholders to support business decision-making.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining data integrity and optimizing database queries using SQL.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database querying; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) is highly preferred.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data modeling.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to translate data into business value.
