Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather raw data from various sources and perform rigorous cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Visual Reporting: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Data Management: Maintain and update our internal databases, ensuring data integrity and security standards are met.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Engineering) to understand business requirements and deliver data-backed solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and key metrics to help the company optimize its operations and increase profitability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. (Graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL and familiarity with Python or R is highly desirable.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to think critically and logically when solving complex problems.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data handling and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts simply.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
