Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret data: Gather information from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness for analysis.
- Develop data visualizations: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis: Apply statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and patterns within large datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with product managers and business units to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Identify business opportunities: Use data-driven insights to recommend process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure data quality: Establish and maintain data governance protocols to prevent errors and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Expert knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI software.
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
