Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and perform rigorous cleaning to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and retrieve data from relational databases.
- Trend Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business decision-making processes.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
