Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- SQL Querying: Write efficient SQL queries to extract, filter, and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to support business decision-making and forecasting.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data findings into clear, business-value insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to understand requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and a working knowledge of SQL.
- Visualization: Basic understanding of data visualization concepts and tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker preferred).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail with a passion for uncovering stories within data.
