What You'll Do:
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies in data.
- Report Generation: Create compelling visualizations and executive summaries using Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Database Support: Assist in maintaining and querying SQL databases to support ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data sets to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns and trends.
- Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to management.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of database structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analytics, SQL, and programming languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
