Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large, complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities for business improvement.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) to define data requirements and analytical goals.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Identify and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that impact company growth.
- Assist in the optimization of SQL queries and database structures for improved data retrieval speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and scripting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is a plus.
