Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop compelling dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can drive strategic business decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- SQL Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently from databases.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, models, and findings for team reference.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and a basic understanding of SQL or Python is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling data and performing analysis.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot data issues.
- Availability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
