Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Report Generation: Create detailed, visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau to present findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can help optimize operations and equity options strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and assumptions used in analysis.
- Assist in Research: Support senior analysts in research projects related to market data and equity performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and explain it in simple terms.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when working with numbers and data entry.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data insights effectively.
