What you'll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and gather necessary information.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing to ensure high-quality datasets.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support reporting needs.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- Analyze trends and patterns to assist in forecasting and strategic planning.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with SQL and experience querying relational databases.
- Basic proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.
- A passion for problem-solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to support business decision-making.
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines and automated reporting scripts.
- Develop and visualize data models to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment or recent graduation (within 2 years) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Strong command of SQL for database querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- High level of analytical thinking and quantitative aptitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
