Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and process large sets of raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- SQL & Database Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract specific data sets and perform joins to support business reporting.
- Visualization: Create interactive and intuitive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop regular reports and presentations summarizing data findings to help leadership understand market trends and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Quality Assurance: Perform statistical analysis and data validation to identify errors or outliers in the data pipeline.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (Graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, stored procedures) and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
- Tool Proficiency: Basic familiarity with Python or R is a plus; experience with Tableau or Power BI is highly desired.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data integrity and reporting standards.
