Role Overview
As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you will support our data science and business intelligence teams in collecting, processing, and analyzing complex datasets. You will play a crucial role in helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions that drive company growth.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create dynamic dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic to intermediate statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Operations to understand their data needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, processes, and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and basic understanding of SQL.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a strong plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about data quality and logic.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry and analysis to minimize errors.
