Responsibilities
- Data Processing & Cleaning: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and normalization of equity options data from various exchanges and data providers.
- Report Generation: Develop daily and weekly performance reports for senior analysts using SQL and Excel.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and volatility indices to identify potential opportunities or risks in the options market.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to present data findings to the team.
- Support Trading Operations: Provide analytical support to the trading floor, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and basic understanding of SQL.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings clearly.
