Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets related to equity options and derivatives to identify market trends.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data reporting processes.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI for senior stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and validation of financial models used for pricing and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of market insights.
- Document data processes and contribute to the optimization of our internal analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of equity markets, options, and derivatives is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R is a strong plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences clearly.
