Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean raw data from various sources related to equity options and market trends to ensure accuracy.
- Market Analysis Support: Help senior analysts identify patterns in market data, track volatility, and generate preliminary reports.
- Database Management: Maintain and update internal databases using SQL and Excel, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Report Generation: Create clear, concise charts, graphs, and dashboards to visualize market performance for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the trading and research teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine audits of data sets to identify errors and discrepancies in real-time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Computer Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
