Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy for equity analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators and market trends.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic to intermediate statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies in financial and operational data.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and professional weekly and monthly reports for management summarizing data findings.
- Market Research: Assist in researching equity options markets to provide background data for trading and investment teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to translate data findings into business recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables). Experience with SQL or Python is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data quality and interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is highly desirable.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
