Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data and assist in maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, methodologies, and assumptions used in analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (recent graduates or students graduating in 2024 are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Experience with Python or R is a plus but not required.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data quality and outliers.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to a non-technical audience.
