Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze equity options trading platforms for security vulnerabilities
- Implement firewall configurations and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial applications
- Assist with incident response for trading system breaches
- Document security protocols and compliance reports
- Collaborate with trading desks on security requirements
- Participate in penetration testing simulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Finance
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with financial trading systems (equity options experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of NIST frameworks and financial regulations
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
