Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts in our SIEM platform for equity options trading systems
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of financial applications
- Implement security controls for trading infrastructure under senior guidance
- Document security incidents and compliance reports for FINRA/SOX regulations
- Participate in threat hunting exercises specific to options trading anomalies
- Collaborate with trading desks to resolve security-related operational issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (training provided)
- Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 3/7 within first 6 months
