Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading systems using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing security controls for trading platform APIs and data feeds
- Participate in penetration testing of derivatives trading applications
- Document security incidents and contribute to forensic investigations
- Support vulnerability management for trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with compliance teams on financial sector regulations
- Assist in developing security awareness materials for traders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Familiarity with network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems
- Understanding of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
- Interest in financial systems and securities regulations
- Entry-level certifications (Security+, CEH) preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
