Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Assist in vulnerability scanning and patch management
- Document security incidents and remediation actions
- Participate in phishing simulation campaigns
- Support firewall configuration and access control reviews
- Learn and apply NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Collaborate with senior analysts on threat intelligence analysis
- Complete industry-recognized certification training (CompTIA Security+)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed IT/ cybersecurity degree preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
